Last week I visited an interesting little Pakistani Halal restaurant in Arlington, VA.  I walked in with my project manager who is Pakistani and loves going to these places so he can order for us in Urdu and make us eat all the things he used to love eating when he was growing up.

As soon as we walked in and sat down at the counter, my first remark to the chef standing before me was, “Hey, these guys are Star Wars fan? The Darth Vader and Storm Trooper salt and pepper shakers are awesome!”

Then I took a closer look… not quite as sci-fi themed as I originally thought they were.  Regardless, they didn’t seem to be offended, or more than likely didn’t know what the hell I was talking about. The food was superb.
