My wife and I are hiking Machu Picchu soon and were doing some conditioning at the local Pine Mountain trails. I took the opportunity to take some shots with my new ultra wide lens, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm. I’ve never shot with a lens like this before, its going to take a little getting used to.
The hardest part for me is taking nature shots in general where there isn’t always a central point of attention. I’m so used to always taking pictures of actual objects. You’ll notice in my photos I still almost always tended to go find a subject. I guess I’m just not that into taking photos of forest or landscapes too much. I proudly didn’t have to do any post processing on these images, with exception of lighting up a few.
